The SOVRYN standard
Questions to Ask Any Peptide Provider.
Lab testing, physician guidance and personalization are common promises in this category. These are the questions that separate a process you can verify from a promise. Ask them of us, and ask them of anyone else.
- 1
Who Supervises Your Care, and in What Specialty?
Peptides and GLP-1 medications interact with the heart, metabolism and recovery. Ask who is accountable for your plan and what training they have.
- 2
What Will Be Measured, and How Often Is It Reviewed?
A plan without a measurement schedule cannot tell you whether it is working. Ask what is tracked, by whom, and when a decision is made about the next step.
- 3
Is Each Compound's Regulatory Status Shown Beside the Price?
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA Category 1 and Category 2 are compounding-policy classifications, not approvals. You should see the status before you pay.
- 4
Which Pharmacy Fills the Prescription?
The pharmacy is part of the quality of what you receive. Ask for its name, its licensure in your state, and how it tests what it ships.
- 5
What Happens If You Need to Stop?
Stopping should be a planned step with a maintenance or discontinuation plan, not an exit. Ask what the provider does when a medication is paused, changed or finished.
- 6
What Does the Monthly Price Include, and What Could Change It?
Compare the total, not the largest number on the page. Ask about the care fee, medication, supplies, shipping, laboratory work, renewal amount and cancellation rules.
- 7
How Is the Evidence Described, and Is Uncertainty Stated?
Be cautious of efficacy figures with no source. Where evidence is preclinical or limited, a provider should say so plainly.
- 8
Will You Be Asked About Sport, Aviation or Occupational Rules Before Options Are Shown?
A prescription does not establish eligibility in a tested sport or for aviation. These questions belong at the start, not after a purchase.
