SOVRYN

Every Prescription Traces Back to a Licensed Pharmacy.

Compounded medication is only as good as the pharmacy behind it. We work with a growing network of licensed compounding pharmacies chosen for quality systems, not just price, and we are expanding that network as we onboard new states.

What We Require of a Pharmacy Partner

01

Licensed, State by State

We only ship from pharmacies licensed to dispense in your state, under the appropriate 503A or 503B framework for the product being compounded.

02

Disclosed to You

Your prescription records which pharmacy fills it, and you can ask for the certificate of analysis for your medication. No black-box sourcing.

03

Cold-Chain, End to End

Temperature-sensitive medications ship cold-chain with tracking from the pharmacy to your door. If a shipment is delayed or arrives warm, contact care and we will arrange a replacement review.

Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness or quality. Pharmacy partners and availability vary by state.

From Prescription to Your Door.

  1. 01

    Your Clinician Prescribes

After reviewing your history, the prescription records the pharmacy that will fill it.

  2. 02

    A Licensed Pharmacy Prepares It

Prepared for you under the 503A or 503B framework that applies, in a pharmacy licensed for your state.

  3. 03

    The Batch Is Tested

Potency, sterility, endotoxin and pH, documented on a certificate of analysis.

  4. 04

    It Ships Cold-Chain

Tracked from the pharmacy to your door, in packaging made to hold temperature.

  5. 05

    You Check and Store It

Check that it arrived cold and undamaged, then refrigerate as directed.

What We Expect Every Batch to Be Tested For.

Testing speaks to the quality of a preparation. It does not show that a medication works for you, and it does not make a compounded medication FDA-approved.

Potency

Confirms the vial contains the labeled amount of active ingredient, within the stated range.

Sterility

Confirms the injectable is free of living microorganisms when it leaves the pharmacy.

Endotoxin

Checks for bacterial fragments that can cause fever and inflammation even in a sterile product.

pH

Confirms the solution is within the acceptable acidity range for injection.

What a Certificate of Analysis Shows

  • Product name and strength
  • Lot or batch number and the date prepared
  • Each test performed, and the method used
  • The result, and the acceptable specification beside it
  • The laboratory and the person who approved the report

If a Shipment Is Late or Arrives Warm

  1. Do not use it, and do not refreeze it.
  2. Keep the packaging and take a photo of the shipping label and contents.
  3. Email care the same day with your name and state.
  4. Your clinician reviews it and arranges a replacement where appropriate.

Four Questions to Ask About Your Pharmacy.

  1. 01

Which pharmacy fills my prescription, and is it licensed in my state?

  2. 02

    Is this a 503A or a 503B preparation?

  3. 03

Can I see the certificate of analysis for my medication?

  4. 04

How is it shipped, and what do I do if it arrives warm or late?
