SOVRYN

Plain Answers Before You Begin.

What care costs, who decides, what is safe, and what happens to your information. If your question is not here, email the care team.

Getting Started

Where Is SOVRYN Available?+

We provide care in CA, FL & TX today and are adding states. The assessment checks your state first, so you do not spend time on a form we cannot act on.

Am I Eligible for GLP-1 Therapy?+

Generally a BMI of 27 or above with a related condition, or 30 and above on its own, but eligibility is a clinical judgment, not a calculator. A clinician reviews your intake personally.

Does the Assessment Mean I Will Be Prescribed Something?+

No. The assessment is an administrative eligibility check, not a clinical decision. A licensed clinician reviews your intake before anything is prescribed, and sometimes the answer is that a medication is not right for you.

Do I Have to Fit a Pathway to Begin?+

No. Pathways for athletes, veterans, pilots, women and private clients exist because some situations change what is appropriate. You are never required to fit an identity category to start.

Cost and Billing

What Does a Care Plan Cost?+

Each care plan is one monthly price: $109 for care, plus the medication for that plan, with supplies and cold-chain shipping included. The total is shown before you give us your history.

What Does the Care Fee Include?+

Your clinician and care team, messaging between visits, dose adjustments, laboratory review and a physician-led review every 90 days. Continuity is care only, for people tapering or between protocols.

Do You Take Insurance?+

Care is self-pay, which is how we keep visits focused on you. We provide itemized receipts for HSA and FSA use and can submit prior authorizations for brand-name medication when your plan covers it.

Can I Stop, Pause or Change My Plan?+

Any time before your next billing date. Your clinician builds an individualized maintenance or discontinuation plan so that stopping a medication is a planned step, not an exit.

Medications and Safety

Are Compounded Medications the Same as Brand-Name?+

No. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness or quality. The dispensing pharmacy is identified in your care plan. Brand-name options are also available where appropriate.

Do You Prescribe Peptides Such as BPC-157?+

We publish a plain list of what we do and do not prescribe, and the reasons. Most peptides have little or no human trial evidence, and we label them that way on every page. Competitive athletes should know that some are on the WADA Prohibited List.

Who Decides Whether I Receive a Prescription?+

Your treating clinician, after reviewing your history, medications and laboratory results. Nothing on this website is a prescription or a treatment recommendation.

What Should I Do If I Have a Bad Reaction?+

For an emergency, call 911. For anything else, message your care team and stop the medication if your clinician has told you to. Our safety page lists the symptoms that need urgent care.

Privacy and Records

Who Sees My Information?+

Your care team and the licensed pharmacy that fills your prescription. We coordinate with your other clinicians only when you authorize it, and you can change that at any time.

Is Shipping Discreet?+

Yes, for every member. Packaging is plain and medications ship cold-chain from a licensed pharmacy.
